The Auxiliary Police Force of The City of Peekskill Police Department is currently expanding to a 20 member force. We are continually looking for candidates who are at least 21 years of age, preferably Westchester County Residents, who are community oriented, self-motivated, and excellent at following directions.

The City of Peekskill Auxiliary Police is a unit of Police Department's Community Policing Division. An Auxiliary Officer's prime function is to assist the Police Department in crowd and traffic control at parades, special events and any other community functions. Auxiliary Officers are also deployed in the downtown business district and other citywide areas of concern or interest where they carryout community policing duties and act in the capacity as the eyes and ears of the Police Department as volunteer New York State Peace Officers.
